easter

this post is coming a little late, but i thought this was such a good idea for coloring eggs- wrapping eggs with rubber bands- it makes beautiful unique designs. how lovely :) coloring eggs is one of my most favorite traditions. my husband's aunts and uncles draw pictures on the eggs with a white crayon. the pictures allude to something that happened to each of us during the year. that way, as we color the eggs, we sit in anticipation as the pictures slowly reveal themselves. then we all reminisce and laugh about life's vicissitudes- whether it's the addition of a new pet or the depiction of a recent car accident. a wonderful tradition that i'd love to carry on in my own family.
